PG Department of Commerce & Management, in association with Stepping Stone, Jalandhar organized a seminar on “Importance of Language in the Era of Technology” on 30th July, 2016. Mr. Jatinder Singh, Director, Stepping Stone, Jalandhar visited the campus for the purpose. It was attended by students of M.Com. Initially, Mr. Jatinder Singh highlighted the importance of English Language which is most popular in today’s globalised scenario. With the advancement in Information Technology, global connectivity is on progress but it requires understandability of linguistics. He also made them aware about the concepts of translation in languages. He added that reading and writing skills both are required to overcome the language related barriers at global level. Seminar ended with a positive energy among the students and motivational spirit to learn the concepts of languages.
