SEMINAR ON INTERVIEW SKILLS AND RESUME WRITING

 PG Department of Commerce and Management organized a Seminar on ‘Interview Skills and Resume Writing’ on 10^th February, 2018 in the College Auditorium. The Resource Persons for the Seminar were Mr. Manvir Singh, Chairman, IBT Institute and Mr. Gurcharanjit Singh, Relationship Manager, IBT.

This Seminar was conducted to help the final year students to learn and apply the tactics, techniques and etiquettes necessary for a successful interview. Mr. Manvir also mentioned that in today’s market, candidate’s success relies most heavily upon strong resume and good Interview skills. In the second half of the session, Blank Resume formats were distributed among the students and the resource persons guided our students as how to make perfect resume for the job. Mr. Manvir also taught some techniques as how to maximize your ability to convert Job Interview into Job Offer.

The topics that were discussed were Interview Preparation, Dynamics of Interview, Common Interview Questions and guidelines to prepare resume. Overall it was learning experience for all the students as well as the faculty members of the Commerce Department
