PG Department of Commerce & Management Organized LUMINANCE 2023 – Irradiating Brilliance Cum Investiture Ceremony

 

The PG Department of Commerce and Management organized the investiture ceremony cum Commerce Club Function based on the theme LUMINANCE 2023 – Irradiating Brilliance. The chief guest of the function was Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Pooja Prashar. The function was inaugurated by lamp-lighting by Principal madam, Mrs. Alka Sharma, Head, Commerce Department, Mrs. Shikha Puri, Dean, Commerce Club, and other faculty members. Jaspreet of B.com Sem V presented a graceful prayer dance performance on Ganesh Vandana. In the investiture ceremony, 44 badges were pinned to office bearers and members of the commerce club for session 2023–24.

Various activities were performed, like Choreography on the theme of “Aatamanirbhar Bharat”, Business Tycoons and Eminent Personalities and Fresher’s Party for B.com Sem I and M.com Sem I. Modelling contest was held for the freshers of B.com and M.Com. The theme for M.com Sem I was ‘Corporate Leaders’. Off-stage competitions were Sales Promotional Tools, Caption Writing on Management Quotes, Poster Making on “World Tourism Day”, Collage Making on "Chandrayan-3," and Logoli Making Competition Rangoli on Company Logos. A Punjabi group dance was presented by students of B.com (FS) Sem-I, and a mesmerizing semi-classical dance performance was organized by Seema of B.com Sem -I.

The stage was handled by Mrs. Shikha Puri and Mrs. Rachana Ralhan Kapoor. 45 trophies were awarded to the achievers. Dr. (Mrs.) Pooja Prashar, Principal, congratulated the winners and bestowed prizes on them. She motivated the students and applauded the efforts made by the department in making this event a grand success. Overall, the function was an enjoyable experience for the students, and they had a wonderful time.
